This 1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe Coupe came out of a junkyard in the md ‘80s and was striped of all chrome and body trim. All the seams and trim holes were filled with body fill as were a lot of rust holes. I purchased this car in 1999 after I retired and spent the next three years searching for the trim pieces, body parts and restoring it to its original condition. I am still working on it some each year. Many people asked me why I didn’t hotrod it; my response was I love the old original cars. I did all the restoration except the final sanding and paint.
