This bike was came to me from a man who wished to trade it. The vehicle he desired was sold before I could get to his home to see the bike. He ended up needing to generate some cash, so he kept after me until I finally went to see the bike. I liked what I saw and his price was reasonable. So I bought it.
He was the second owner. The first owner was a mechanic at his local dealership. The mechanic continued to service the bike during his ownership. When I bought the bike, I called the .....
dealership and they went to his home and transported the bike to their shop for maintenance and service.
Now the bike has been completely serviced, including ALL fluids. It has a fresh tune-up. The brakes were replaced. They mounted up a brand new set of tires. The belt and battery were replaced just prior to my ownership. The dealership offered me a great rate on a full detail including polishing of all paint and chrome. This bike not only looks great, but it is completely ready to ride and enjoy.
I am going to do just that! At this time, the mileage is 17,360. I hope to put on a few miles, so that figure may change before you come to see the bike. Don’t be shocked if there are some bugs plastered on the windshield and fairing.
If you have done your homework, you likely know the specifications. This bike is pretty much bone-stock, as far as the mechanicals go. The 96 inch fuel-injected engine performs perfectly. I truly enjoy the six speed transmission. Having three discs makes stopping so much quicker. ABS prevents skids. The Ultras are loaded with Cruise Control, Harmon-Kardon stereo, crash bars, a great seat and lots of storage between the King Tour Pak and the locking saddle bags.
There are a few modifications: the shorty windshield (I will probably switch to a tall one), the handlebars are what I call “tall man”, the highway pegs, chrome lower fork legs and some chrome dress-up. This bike has the beautiful White Gold Pearl/Pewter Pearl two-tone paint scheme option from the Factory.
The Tour Pak is easily removable. I have ordered a backrest that can go in its place. Now you can appear a bit more sporty and less top-heavy.
Both keys and fobs are present. There is an Owner’s Manual and tool kit. It seems that everything is here as it should be.
This bike has low miles, a great look, nice features and has always been Harley mechanic maintained. If you are interested, please come and check it out. I doubt you will be disappointed. Now it is time for me to go for a ride!
