This week, Canyon State Classics brings to market a 1993 Volkswagen Eurovan Weekender camper that is truly one of a kind. Not only in its configuration and condition, but in its wonderful story and documentation over the years, it was truly a member of the family. The VW is a one owner being in the same family over the past 31 years! The final generation of the VW Transporter (T4) was referred to as the “EuroVan” in the States. Of all the available trims, the Weekender was the mid range .....
EuroVan and was trimmed with extra items including a pop top with bed, rear foldable bed, cooler box, swivel seats, picnic style table and sliding side windows.
The following is a list of options as this VW is currently equipped:
-2.5L 5-Cyl
-5 Speed Manual Transmission
-Westfalia Pop-Top
-Second Row Pivot Seat
-Cooler Box
-Picnic Table & Cupholders
-Non smoking and no pets during entire time of ownership
-Clean upholstery, upper and lower cushions, blinds and curtains
-New Hankook Radial Tires
The body on the Van is overall straight and totally solid and rust free. The exterior is finished in its original color of Arctic White which is gorgeous and was just fully buffed and waxed. I would describe the overall paint as a very nicely kept paint with a few small imperfections and chips, which have been touched up. Remember, this paint is over 30 years old, but looks great going down the street and still has a high shine and luster! The car is riding on nice, original wheels/hubcaps and has new radial tires. All trim, glass, and rubber seals are in good original condition and have not been altered since new.
The interior is in very good shape all around. The front seats are in good condition with little ware, which shows the quality of materials used in this car. The rubber floors are all very nice are not worn or damaged. The dash is like new and looks great. All gauges and controls function as they should. The sound system is all original. All lights, gauges switches, and accessories work as they should. The rear camper area is close to flawless and all cabinets are beautiful and all latches and hinges are in excellent condition. The sliding-door window surround trim is starting to fall apart. The bed cushions look freshly nothing is dirty or has any kinds of funny smells or ware. The pop up canvas is in good shape and zippers still seal everything up.
Mechanically, this VW runs GREAT! The van starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. A lot of time and money was spent under the hood of this little Bus. This van was owned by an engineer and has always been very well maintained. We have put the van through our shop for: inspection, LOF replacement light lenses and a fresh round of tires.
