AMC never saw fit to put a V8 in the Scrambler, and the 4.2L inline six that was the biggest factory optional engine left something to be desired. This CJ-8 rectifies this with a 360CI AMC V-8 under the hood. Combined with the short geared factory four speed manual transmission, the V8 gives this little pickup that could the performance it should have had from the factory. Other performance enhancements include an Edelbrock Pro-Flo fuel injection system on a high-rise aluminum intake manifold, full MSD ignition, headers, and a dual exhaust system that gives this truck a beefy exhaust note to match the looks. Speaking of looks, this Scrambler has been completely refinished in a gorgeous basecoat/clearcoat metallic black that gives a shine a mile deep. The beautiful chrome grille, bumpers, and wheels are the perfect offset for the black paint and really give this Jeep an amazing look.
