The 924 is a two-door 2+2 coupe produced by Porsche from 1976 until 1988 and was the first street legal car they produced that was water cooled with a front engine and rear wheel drive configuration. This enabled them to achieve a 48/52 front/rear weight distribution which aided in both traction and brake balance. They were nicely equipped with a removable roof panel, power windows, mirrors and locks as well as A/C, a rear window defroster, a Blaupunkt AM/FM cassette player and a rubber .....
duck-tail spoiler fitted to the rear hatch which lowered the already low drag coefficient from .36 to .33. This particular example retains its original SOHC 1985cc I4 engine, 5 speed manual transmission, upgraded 16" rims and a sweet two-tone Diamond Silver Metallic and Petrol Blue Metallic paint job. It is a 3 owner car that the current owner purchased 20 years ago which currently shows 53,640 miles. The odometer stopped working about 10 years ago and it is estimated that it has been driven less than 5,000 miles since. It is completely original except for the wear items and everything works as it should including the headlights and the A/C which still blows cold. The passenger window does move quite slowly so that could use replacing. Based on its current condition we would conservatively rate this as a # 3 car. As such we would appraise it at the current NADA Average Retail Value which currently is $13,050. We know the market is soft on these right now and have priced it aggressively for a quick sale so if you like what you see we suggest that you contact us before it is too late!
