He decided to keep the trucks drivetrain exactly how he bought it and had the machine shop rebuild the original 250 cubic inch six cylinder engine and the 4-speed manual transmission at a cost of over $6000 with receipts. and rides like a new truck. The interior is amazing with factory gauges, factory steering wheel, clean dash, am-fm Delco radio, sliding rear window and original seat belts. After the new paint new chrome bumpers and chrome side mirrors were added and look great. Inside the bed was repainted and the original wood was clearcoated for durability and a beautiful finish.
