Certainly there is some history behind this car. But we don’t’ know it. We are not even sure it was raced. This is what we do know: Brian Logghe Series II chassis, rebuilt Dana 60 with posi and 4.56 gears, spindle mount front runners, ladder bars, coil over shocks, chrome straight axle and linkage, Wilwood disc brakes, Aluminum tin work all done, parachute, very nice body.

I stumbled upon an old Mike Kuhl built 426 Hemi that was part of an early 80’s drag boat project that stalled. John Blaesing rebuilt the engine and carburetors. We found a rebuilt 727 transmission. Now the fun begins!
Through a series of lucky events and with my eyes wide open, I stumbled upon most of the fuel, exhaust, cooling and braking systems. Much of what I found is nostalgic.

My big idea was squelched. Because I am too big! At 6’4”, I am not able to fit in the car, even without a helmet or racing suit. So the Patriot Funny Car is for sale.
