The engine features a polished high-rise aluminum intake manifold topped with a dual-feed Quick Fuel carburetor and open element air cleaner, polished finned aluminum valve covers, HEI ignition, polished aluminum water pump and pully, as well power brakes with front discs. Hooker headers rumble back though a throaty dual exhaust system. Power is transferred to the rear wheels by a Borg-Warner T-10 4-speed manual transmission back to a 12-bolt positraction rear end supported by heavy-duty tubular upper and lower control arms with QA1 control arm mounts and Competition Engineering 3-way adjustable drag shocks.
