1956 Chevrolet 210 2 Door Post DGC0488 VIN 56B010488. 350 V-8, Turbo 400 Auto Trans with B&M shifter, Power Disc Brakes(front). Supra Super Tack III. Supra temp and oil pressure gauges under the dash. Edelbrock, intake, manifold, and carburetor. Aluminum radiator with a big electric Cruz fan. The battery is in the trunk, and we replaced both battery cables to bigger and better cables. AM/FM radio. This is a great runner and driver. This car was in a collection for many years and I believe that .....
it was probably drag raced at one point. The car is in great shape and if it was raced, it doesn't seem like it was ever wrecked, because the frame and body are in excellent shape. There are signs remaining that it was raced, like the extension on the gas tank for an external pump. It has extra support for the rear-end. The car has been tubbed a little and you can see that looking at the rear seats which are not stock. The underside has some rust repair and if you watch the video and it is a really good job showing you the underside. We have gone through this car pretty thoroughly because its was sitting for the past 3 years. We went through the brakes, fuel system and performed a service and safety check on it so the car is ready to drive. We also installed a new interior. The seats now match the exterior and are two tone orange and white. This car may have had a bigger engine at one point for racing, but the 350 that is in it now is no slouch! I really enjoy driving this car, especially with the new interior and good brakes! It has come a long way from when we first bought it. I think you will like the way this Chevy looks, sounds and drives.
