These Hudson's are neat car to build. Restore it, or make it a really cool custom car. Lots of people mistake these Hudson's for a Mercury.
Great project, that is pretty complete and original. 6 cylinder engine, with 3 speed transmission, (shifts on column). The motor is stuck, so it does not run.
This car has a decent body, but does have some damage to the right rear door and right rear .....
quarter panel. Nothing too hard to repair. Has a decent grille and bumpers. There is rust in the front of the hood, which seems to be common on these Hudson's. Interior is there, but needs to be redone. Will need a redone steering wheel, if you want an original, as all the plastic has crumbled. I believe it is missing the original radio, but I will look soon to see if it is inside the car.
NOTE: MOST OF THESE VINTAGE CARS AND TRUCKS DO NOT HAVE KEYS WHEN WE GET THEM. IT IS PRETTY EASY TO REMOVE THE LOCKS AND HAVE YOUR LOCAL KEY SHOP MAKE A KEY. OR, MANY USE REPLACE THE OLD LOCK WITH A NEW AFTER MARKET IGNITION, AND DOOR LOCKS. IF WE DO HAVE KEYS FOR ANY OF THE VEHICLE WE SELL, WE PUT THEM IN THE VEHICLES.
