This is a hard car to describe, but I will try. The car is all steel with the exception of the fiberglass rear fenders.
This '40 was professionally done by Mike Heffinger of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina. He designed the installation of a SHO engine and connected it to a 5-Speed manual transmission, floor mounted. To his knowledge, it was the first SHO engine put in a street rod. He did all the paint, interior, and body work. Mike, with his great talents, did it all!!
