1930 Ford Model A
All Henry Ford "steel!" This build has only 68 MILES!
Built to be driven is the key. The 30 Ford has inspired generations of rodders with the classic open staggered stance of BFGoodrich P205/60R15 and the massive P295/50R15s in the rear. This is NOT a kit! Built by a pro-automotive shop in Lynnwood WA. The build is solid and dependable ready to take on any cruise or road trip.
Built on a NEW frame assembly done in gloss black. A .....
forged I-Beam 4" dropped front axle, a 27" Hairpin Radius Rods and chrome performance front end shocks. Rock solid handling with the proper classic styling. A MOPAR 8 207074 POSI and 741 carrier. To keep you straight on the road a rear four-bar suspension and adjustable chrome cover shocks. Front disc brakes with a power Corvette master and rear drums gives all the stopping power youll ever need. A new reversed Corvair steering box for greater strength and durability. The 30 is going to give a safe performance either on the track or curves on a mountain road.
Power is a 1965 Ford built 289ci mated to a C6 small block automatic transmission. The Lake Style Headers feed into 2.5" exhaust with Flowmaster Super Series mufflers. The 30 has the perfect combination of power to weight ratio. Keeping the firewall clean is a "Steer Clear" flush mount steering column.
The interior has a pair of bucket seats upholstered in black with green piping to contrast the gloss black and metallic silver scallops pin striped in green. The custom pin stripe flows through out the 30 from the dash to the trunk. Highly detailed interior includes the black cloth headliner, custom black door panels with green piping, and cut pile black carpet. The all-steel dash houses classic design of Stewart Warner Wings Gauge set that features curved glass lenses, chrome bezels, teardrop pointers with crescent-moon tails. An all-chrome tilt steering column with self-cancelling turn signal. Yes, it even has seatbelts. Keeping to the nostalgic look, a Lokar Hi-Tech shifter features
reverse and neutral safety lockout and safety switch. The 14" aluminum "Slash" steering wheel beckons the driver to take a drive.
A perfect balance of tradition hot rod and modern performance in this ultra cool 30.
