Best way to turn your dream into a reality? Start the build to be driven and remember the details matter. The '29 is a period-correct styling using "All Original Henry Steel!" This is an authentic design that pays tribute to Americana hot rodding history...timeless!
The 1929 started with the finest ride a full .....
custom frame. The chassis design is engineered for increased strength and excellent ride quality. Keeping to the classic look a 4" drop chrome tube front axle with a chrome 4 bar. Yes, even has rack and pinion steering. A chrome 4-link rear suspension that is adjustable for your ride stance and coil over shocks gives superior handling. The 9" Ford rear end with 3:10 ratio is the perfect choice for both street and HWY driving. The power assist front disc and rear drums give all the stopping power you'll need. Further enhanced by the wheel and tire combination riding on BFGoodrich Radial T/A P155/80R15 and P255/70R15 gives that distinctive hot rod style.
The '29 design must have style to standout. To give the correct look a little subtle cosmetic design was needed. The bed has been shortened 10 inches. This change has given the '29 a very aggressive look. The hood side panels have been deleted giving ample air and cooling for the 350ci SBC with a 4-bolt main. The 350ci has a mild RV cam, silver ceramic coated headers, aluminum Edelbrock intake, and a Mallory ignition. The dual 2.5" exhaust has a great rumble. Remember this is a '29 Ford no need for over-the-top power. The 350ci SBC has a great cam sound backed by a TH350 making it reliable and giving years of drivability. Keeping in mind this is built to be driven has dual saddle fuel tanks.
The interior upholstered in a deep burgundy leather to match the exterior is nice contrast to the paint. The dash houses a full array of Dolphin gauges. A tilt steering column with self-cancelling turn signals and flashers. The removable one-piece top is light and can be done by one person. By removing the top you're driving, a roadster...very cool. The bed has polished oak with chrome strips and a working tailgate. The '29 has been immortalized bt Steve McCool the classic and custom car artist. In 2016 the '29 has been made in to a Hot Rod painting offered as a print go to www.SteveMcCoolArt.com to get yours today.
