This SL500is finished in its gorgeous original color of 025 Brilliant Black. The paint is in excellent condition with no paint or body work to speak of. It looks gorgeous and was just fully buffed and hand waxed. The body on the car is laser straight, and does not have even a single door ding. This Benz has always been garage kept and pampered its entire life and really shows. The staggered 18'' chrome wheels on this Benz are also specially designed for the SL. The car has a very nice hard top, and has a like-new original Mercedes German canvas soft top. Also the complete hydraulic system was just rebuilt and works flawlessly!
The interior is covered in very nice Java Leather. It is in very good condition for its age with minimal wear lines on bolsters/bases and absolutely no rips or tears. The Dash and steering wheel are also in nice shape with no wear. The dash, doors, console are accented with Maple wood trim which is all absolutely gorgeous. The original set of OEM Mercedes mats are also included. This car does have optional dual heated seats as well as a Bose Sound System with 6CD Changer.
Mechanically, is where this Benz stands out. It has very healthy powerful 5.0L V8 that puts out 302 HP. The automatic transmission shifts perfect while increasing fuel economy and driving comfort. Everything works in the car.. lights, gauges, radio, seats, windows, locks, a/c blows ice cold, etc. This car is very clean under the hood and really shows how its previous owner took excellent care of it. The car just received a front to back inspection and was put through our shop for a full top overhaul (all cylinders) and new top, in addition to the replacement of: transmission mount, motor mounts, crank case breather, shift linkage, valve cover gaskets, front struts/ strut mounts, power antenna and rebuild abs module.
This car is ready to go! The car is in excellent condition inside and out. This SL 500 is stunning and is definitely the most desired color combination. This car is an excellent value and is a lot of car for the money, and in this beautiful condition you cant go wrong!
