This is my wife’s 1971 Dodge 100 pickup that we bought years ago at a car show in Iola, WI. I call it my wife’s truck as she talked me into buying it. We drove the truck to car shows for about four years and then greed got the best of me since I figured we could sell it at a profit and, so, we sold the pickup. A year after we sold the truck we realized that I had made a big mistake as we loved it too much. It took six years to convince the young lady that bought the pickup from us that she should sell it back to us. The novelty of owning it must have been wearing off for her as the paint was getting dull and starting to fade due to the lack of polishing and the rocker panels were beginning to rust. She said that she could see that we wanted to own the truck more than she did and sold it back to us in November 2009. This time we are keeping it! Submitted by Joseph W. Weber Honesdale, PA
