Completed on December 17, 1971 and shipped six days later on December 23, 1971 the first owner and any early history on the car is not recorded. At some point, likely in the last two decades, the car was repainted red but the interior appears to be original. Noted as having been in the U.S. in the early 1990s according to records from the Aston Martin Owners Club, it was presented in 1989-91 by a J. Stinsmen of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The previous owner acquired the car from New Jersey in March of 2008 and has maintained the car on static display since.
