Description
Only 1,425 miles since the rotisserie restoration! Cover car of High Performance Pontiac and Best of Show Trans Am Nationals! Performance built fuel injected 462! 5 speed! A folder of receipts and documents accompany the car. Professionally restored and ready for its next trophy!

EXTERIOR: Top quality paint and bodywork! The body was dipped and stripped before the professional paint and air brushing were applied. It was executed with expert precision then polished to a smooth and shiny .....
finish. The stripes and Firebirds were custom painted and smooth under the clear. Looking down the side of the 100% laser straight body it has smooth contours and crisp lines. All the panels have been nicely aligned with good gaps, especially the spoilers. The long and heavy doors close easily with minimal effort. The front grille and headlight bezels look fantastic. The rear bumper was rechromed. The windshield was replaced, and the remaining glass looks original with new rubber seals and fuzzy strips too. The shaker hood scoop is functional, and the spoilers really enhance the profile. The big, polished exhaust tips and fender vents are just too cool. It has a shaved trunk keyhole with a button for the trunk popper under the dash. It's sitting on 17"" American Racing wheels with polished lips and Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

INTERIOR: Completely refurbished! Beautiful machine turned gauge bezel with white face 160 mph speedometer, rally tachometer, and other vital gauges. The a/c and heat climate control are all in great shape. Custom sound system with aftermarket speakers, ""A"" pillar tweeters, and a digital stereo that fits in the factory hole. Super nice Formula steering wheel on a tilt column. The custom 2 tone upholstery on the seats matches the door panels and looks super cool. It has seatbelts for every seat, added retractable 3 point belts in front. The driver's side has a remote mirror. The center console with armrest, storage, power window switches, and a T-handle Hurst shifter finishes off the interior. The headliner, visors, and carpeting were all replaced. It also has custom floor mats with matching Trans Am embroidery. A Compustar security system was installed.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Fuel injected! Performance built, balanced, and bored by a professional! It was punched out .030 from a 455 to a 462 cubic inches. It has 4 bolt mains, TRW forged aluminum pistons, a Butler Performance roller cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Tomahawk intake, Accel fuel injection, Accel ignition system and Tribal Tubes Tri-Y coated headers. We have the dyno tune sheet for 417 horsepower and 455 ft lbs of torque to the rear wheels, 520 hp at the engine. The front of the motor has a March serpentine drive system. It runs cool with an aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. It's equipped with air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. The master cylinder also has a proportioning valve. The battery is properly secured, and it has a master cut off too. The original cowl tag is in place. The underside of the hood, fender wells, and firewall are all painted satin black. This is a decked out, great looking engine compartment.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the lid and jamb were both painted slick just like the body. The weatherstrip was replaced. Under the lid is all carpeted with custom Trans Am embroidery. The trunk itself has been fully boxed and carpeted with a custom mounted subwoofer and amplifier. It's currently storing some display boards and trophies.

UNDERSIDE: It was body off frame restored. Completely rebuilt steering and suspension. Upgraded with Global West springs, tubular frame connectors and Koni shocks. The brakes were upgraded with disc at all four wheels, new e-brake cable. Great sounding 3 inch stainless Pypes exhaust system. The fuel system was replaced. Looking up at the motor it has an extra capacity oil pan, and a high torque starter. Upgraded Richmond 5-speed manual trans with a dual disc Centerforce clutch, Lakewood SFI bellhousing, and a Hayes flywheel. In back is a 12 bolt posi rear end with 3.08 gears. The floors were dipped and stripped, they are clean metal that was prepped then sprayed with a semi-gloss chip guard paint.

SERVICE: After our inspection we replaced the oil pressure gauge, 2 injectors, the seat foam, lock cylinders and batteries in the key fob. We also topped off the Freon.

Lots of fun to be had with this behemoth 462 engine and the 5 speed manual transmission. Plus, it's got the show to match the go. Fuel injected and ready to rip! This car is done right, and it has the accreditations to show it! Don't think twice!
