Description
Killer El Camino! 3 year professional body off frame restoration by Auto Kraft. It's highly detailed throughout. Very desirable features from the 4-speed to a cowl induction hood. The 496 Stroker sounds amazing through the Pypes exhaust system, that's what sealed the deal when I bought it!

EXTERIOR: Gorgeous factory Green Mist color! The paint was expertly laid out on a 100% laser straight body. The SS stripes were applied under the clear coat so you can barely feel them. The vinyl top .....
is fresh. All the trim is straight and polished to a beautiful lustre. The grille, headlight bezels, bumpers, lights, glass, rubber seals, and even fuzzy strips were replaced. New windshield too. The doors close easily with minimal effort. The steel Cowl Induction hood is functioning and it also has hood pins. It's sitting on a fresh set of 14"" Magnum wheels with polished trim rings and SS center caps. They are wrapped in BFGoodroch Radial T/A tires with tons of tread left.

INTERIOR: Inside the door jambs are all nicely painted Green Mist. The weatherstrips were all replaced. The door panels, armrests, levers, radio, shifter, visors, carpet, seat belts, steering wheel, and rearview mirror are all brand new. The entire dash area is new including a complete set of factory gauges with a tachometer and working clock. It also features a factory Am-Fm radio. A key highlight is the 4-speed! It has a correct Muncie Bench seat shifter with factory boot and bezel. The 4 speed manual shifter sits front and center with just enough room left for your sweetie to snuggle up close to you on the reupholstered bench seat. The headliner is also new with no sags or rips.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is highly detailed! At the center of it all is a 454 that was bored and stroked into a raging 496 street beast! You wouldn't know the difference from its stock appearance with original style chrome valve covers and air cleaner. The rubber seal meets up with the hood completing the cowl induction system. All the hoses, wires, and lines have been replaced. The radiator, alternator, power steering pump, spring clamp battery cables, GM hoses all look fresh. The power brakes are new with a cadmium plated booster. It also has a really nice set of long tube headers. The battery is properly secured plus the squirters and horns are hooked up. The underside of the functioning Cowl Induction hood, firewall, and fender wells are all neatly painted satin black for a clean presentation. Even the latch assembly has been replaced and the original trim tag is still in place.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The backside of the tailgate and jamb are painted slick just like the body. It also has brand new hardware. All the metal inside the bed is solid steel with neatly applied Green Mist paint. A thick rubber liner is included to protect the metal.

UNDERSIDE: Body off frame restoration and it looks like it was finished last night! It is highly detailed and still looks fresh. All the steering and suspension has been rebuilt. The entire brake system has been restored with disc in front and the e-brake assembly is hooked up. All new lines, hoses, and cables. The fuel system was completely replaced. It has a great sounding custom Pypes exhaust that's fatter, has a X-Pipe, and is all stainless steel too. Looking up at the motor it's still spotless with Chevy Orange paint and a high torque starter. There's a correct M20 Muncie 4 speed manual transmission that's been redone and the shift linkage looks fresh too. A rebuilt drive shaft leads back to a posi 12 bolt rear end with 3.31 gears. The solid metal floors and frame are all smooth metal painted with detail.

SERVICE: We inspect each of our cars. This one we resealed the oil pressure sending unit, adjusted the carburetor, tightened the steering wheel, adjusted the door lock rods and eliminated an exhaust rattle.

If this monstrous 496 stroker, 4 speed manual, and a 3 year comprehensive frame off restoration don't get your heart beating faster than you must be dead! Take a few deep breaths and reconsider why you haven't already pushed the ""buy it now"" tab!
