Description
What a knockout! Butler Built engine, overdrive automatic, 4 wheel disc, plus custom paint and custom interior! This Pro Touring Trans Am tribute car was built to be driven and enjoyed. It was also well maintained; we have an invoice dated 02/05/2024 for $10,585 in service. No disappointments here, just a fantastic vehicle that won't drain the 401k!

EXTERIOR: What a pretty paint job! The Cameo white paint was applied with great detail and polished to a smooth and reflective finish. In .....
the right lighting you can catch little hints of a blue pearl sheen. The stripes were applied under the clear coat and are virtually smooth to the touch. Looking down the side of the body it is nice and straight with smooth contours and crisp lines. All the panels have been painstakingly aligned with consistent gaps that are definitely above average. The doors close easily with minimal effort. All the glass is crystal clear plus the rubber seals and fuzzy strips were replaced. The Trans Am hood, scoops and spoilers really enhance the profile. It was upgraded with high intensity headlights. The front grille and facia are in fantastic shape. All the chrome has been refinished and has a beautiful shine. It's sitting on a pair if polished aluminum mags by American Racing that are wrapped in BFGoodrich radial tires.

INTERIOR: Super comfortable interior with high back bucket seats that recline too. There is a very practical center console with a carbon fiber finish, storage compartment, overdrive automatic shifter and Kenwood touchscreen stereo. The rear seat is covered with matching upholstery. The headliner, rear view mirror, sun visors, dash pad, gauge bezel, gauges, vents, and door panels have all been replaced. It also has a tilt steering column and we installed a totally sweet leather wrapped wheel. 6x9 speakers were added to the rear shelf and the dome light is working too.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This thing runs fantastic, so nice and smooth. Under the hood is a Butler built engine, they are known for their consistent performance and turnkey reliability. It's flanked by a set of long tube headers and spark plug wire holders. Topped off with a Weber carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, fuel pressure regulator, HEI distributor, and MSD digital 6al ignition box. It's also equipped with air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. The master cylinder and booster were upgraded to a chrome unit with a proportioning valve. All the lines and hoses have been replaced. Fresh looking radiator. The underside of the hood, fenderwells and firewall are neatly painted satin black.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted body color. The weatherstrip was replaced. Under the rubber mat is insulation then solid metal with a neatly applied spatter finish paint. It comes with a full size spare tire mounted on a matching rim and a jack assembly too.

UNDERSIDE: The front end steering and suspension looks like it has been rebuilt. It was also upgraded with a fatter sway bar and frame connectors to tie the front to the back and prevent twisting. Further upgrades include disc brakes at all four wheels. Out back the shocks look recent and it has traction bars also. It's retrofitted with an electric fuel pump and inline filter mounted in back by the tank. The dual exhaust system has a crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Looking up at the Butler 400 performance engine it's nice and clean. It was upgraded with a 700R4 overdrive automatic trans that has an aluminum pan and a GForce trans brace. The 10 bolt rear end has an aluminum girdle cover. The floors appear to be solid and rust free with neatly applied black paint.

SERVICE: After our thorough inspection we replaced the glove box light assembly, adjusted the steering gearbox, tightened exhaust clamps, and replaced the steering wheel.

Only about 600 Trans Am's were made in 1969. Today on the market they range in price from $100,000-$200,000. Save big with this high quality tribute that's just a small fraction of the price!
