Description
From the very prestigious Wellborn collection! This is one of the cleanest Darts I've ever seen. It features very desirable bucket seats with a center console plus the original #'s matching 340 engine purrs like a kitten. The fit and finishes throughout are as good as new or better. If you are searching for the best, look no further!

EXTERIOR: This one's exceptional folks! The fit and finish are better than when it rolled off the assembly line. The paint is like smooth glass. The gaps .....
are square and flush and they're very precise. It even has the Pentastar emblem on the fender like it's supposed to. 100% arrow straight and the doors close easily like a new car. The Light Green Poly has some metal flake that is laid out evenly. The clear coat finish is wet looking. I love the bulges on the hood and the 340 4 Barrel call outs that came with the GTS. It also has the optional fender mounted turn signals. The trim and front grille both look to be very nice original. The windshield and rear window are crystal clear. It has the deluxe mirrors on both sides. The door handles look new, and the vinyl top is pristine. Also has the optional bumblebee stripe that's a vinyl decal. The bumpers were rechromed and the tail panel looks to be very good original. It has the poverty hubcaps with steel rims. New redline tires are actually BFGoodrich with custom red lines put on.

INTERIOR: The top of the door metal is all nicely painted. The door panels and armrests were all replaced. I really like the GT Sport emblem on the door panels too. It has a new dash pad and the entire instrument panel is very clean. The lenses, gauges, knobs, heater controls are all fantastic. Original style thumbwheel radio is in place. All the lights work. A center console with shifter and bucket seats are an oddity in these Darts, most were bench with a column shifter. The seats have been rebuilt and the upholstery is tight like a drum with a nice spring cushion too. Upholstered headrests look great. The rear seat was also redone and has a set of original seatbelts. The rear shelf has a fairly rare rear defroster blower. The headliner is replaced with no wrinkles and the carpet looks great. The visors and mirror look like new. Also has an authentic style steering wheel.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Every component was restored. It has 2 very desirable features: power steering and brakes! At the heart of it is the VIN # matching 340 engine rated at 275 horsepower which is quite potent for such a little car. All very stock looking with the manifolds and valve covers. It's an upgraded carburetor with an electric choke that is topped off with a crinkle finish air cleaner and the pie tin on top. It has the correct hoses, and the plug wires are dated and run properly. The horns are hooked up and it has the right radiator cap, fan shroud, and hose clamps. The Mopar battery topper gives an authentic look. Three speed wiper motor is restored, squirters are hooked up. The engine bay is painted as nice as the exterior. Assembly line paint dabs were even duplicated. The original fender tag is still in place. Under the hood is complete with insulation.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is a completely restored trunk compartment like it just rolled off the assembly line. Underneath the trunk lid is painted real nicely to match the exterior. This car has the optional light package so it's a working trunk lamp. The deluxe hubcaps stored in the trunk will go with the car. Also comes with a spare tire, jack assembly and rubber mat.

UNDERSIDE: Underneath this car is really clean and the floors are spotless metal. It is a factory undercoat car that was cleaned and dusted with black paint to make it look fresh again. The entire front-end steering and suspension was rebuilt and detailed. looks fresh. The rear springs and bushings look fresh, it has upgraded air shocks. The brake system was all checked out and the emergency brake is hooked up. Looking up at the VIN #'s matching motor, it's clean with a fresh starter. The correct 727 Torqueflite automatic trans is shifting great. In back is an 8 rear end with 3.23 gears.

SERVICE: Our shop manager thoroughly inspected this car, and we tightened the trans pan, installed a trim piece, and serviced the brakes. It was very dialed in when we purchased it!

This car is from one of the most prestigious Mopar collections in the world, the Wellborn Collection. We sell a lot of Darts, the condition of this one is one of the best and the option list is desirable. Buckets, console, power steering and brakes are not commonly found on the Dart. Act fast!! There will be other Darts, but they won't be this one!
