This gorgeous Camaro is really set up to be driven. Completely updated with a high-performance crate motor, overdrive trans, Moser rear end, Ridetech suspension and Wilwood brakes!
EXTERIOR: What's better than a 69 Camaro convertible? A red one! According to the trim tag it was born Garnett red. It has recently been repainted and it's slick. The stripes are painted just as slick. The body is clean and straight, right down to the bottom. It has been dressed up with a metal cowl hood, .....
front, and rear spoilers. The chrome bumpers, emblems, handles, and mirrors were replaced. It has optional wheel well moldings and 1/4 panel louvers. The black convertible top looks fresh. It is rolling on US Mags: 17x8s in front, 17x10s in back with Toyo performance tires.
INTERIOR: According to the tag it was also born with a red interior! The seat upholstery, door panels and armrests have all been replaced. The carpet looks good, and it has a set of SS floor mats. It also has a complete set of original red seat belts. The dash area is in good shape, the dash pad was replaced. The console looks good and has been updated with an overdrive shift indicator. It even has red knobs on the window cranks and a reproduction red steering wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It gets really good in here! It has a new Blueprint crate motor: 350-404 hp/410 lbs of torque! On top is aluminum heads, an Edelbrock ProFlo4 EX electronic fuel injection and MSD ignition. The Hooker headers are wrapped in heat shield. The front of the motor has new alternator, power steering and pulleys. It runs cool with a Summit aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. It also features a new power brake booster and master. The rest of the compartment is very tidy and proper. It is dressed up with some real nice Ring Brothers billet hinges and fender supports along with a filler panel in front.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted slick like the car. Inside is clean, dry metal with a spatter finish paint. It has reproduction weatherstrip and well liner.
UNDERSIDE: Body off frame restored with many performance upgrades. It has an Art Morrison subframe with Ridetech suspension including drop spindles, Strongarm tubular control arms swaybar and coilover adjustable gas shocks. Frame connectors tie the front to the back. In back it has a tubular 4 link system with cradle and coilover adjustable gas shocks. The steering was rebuilt. Upgraded Holley fuel tank system with built in electric pump. New chambered exhaust system has neatly tucked away turned down tips. All new Wilwood brake system with big drilled and slotted disc at all four wheels, 6 piston calipers in front. The lines, hoses and e-brake assembly are new. Looking up at the motor it still looks new. It has a high torque starter and chrome flywheel cover. The headers are wrapped in heat cloth. The trans is a fresh TTI 700R-4 overdrive automatic. A custom aluminum driveshaft leads back to a new Moser 12 bolt rear end with aluminum girdle cover and posi gears.
SERVICE: Our shop did their inspection and got it dialed in. They adjusted the reverse light switch, repaired the horn contact, replaced the cables for the heater controls, installed the bushing kit on the visors, it had a front-end alignment, replaced the door locks, reinstalled the trim on the quarter windows, replaced the rollers in the right rear window and repaired an exhaust hanger.
It's so much more than a pretty face! This car has had about $40,000 just spent upgrading to be a great performer. This one won't be a garage ornament, you will be wanting to drive it every chance you get!
