EXTERIOR: Top quality fit and finish! The Porsche Nardo Gray paint and clear coat are applied with expert precision. It was polished to a silky smooth and reflective finish. Looking down the side of the body it is 100% laser straight with smooth contours and crisp lines. All the panels have been .....
painstakingly aligned with consistent gaps that rival a new Mercedes. The doors close easily with minimal effort. All the glass, rubber seals and fuzzy strips were replaced. The bumpers were rechromed and the remaining trim is all polished to a lustrous shine. The front grille looks like new. It's equipped with sequential LED taillights and LED headlights. Upgraded black Hartz cloth top with a glass window. Hidden power antenna, and dual side view mirrors. It has a gorgeous set of 17"" rims that are the modern version of the Rally II wheels. They are wrapped in performance tires.
INTERIOR: First thing you notice when opening the door is all the interior lights have been replaced with LED. Inside the jamb is painted just like the exterior. The latch mechanism, weatherstrip, and sill plates were all replaced. It has a set of restored rally gauges including a tachometer. The console was restored and is home to the fun to use Hurst dual gate shifter and an original vacuum gauge. All of the upholstery, door panels, visors, dash pad have been replaced. New carpet on the floor with a set of Reproduction mats. The seatbelts look like good originals. A modern Bluetooth stereo looks stock and has hidden 400 watt speakers.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Picture perfect! The 400 engine has been totally rebuilt and runs fantastic. It was upgraded with a Holley carb, Offenhauser intake, and a super nice set of headers. Equipped with air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. All the accessories look new and the brake master cylinder with power booster has a proportioning valve too. The upgraded aluminum Cold Case radiator keeps it all cool and happy. The battery is properly secured and has a reproduction Delco topper. The spring hinges and latch mechanism were both replaced as well. The firewall and fender wells are all neatly painted black, and the underside of the hood is complete with insulation. The original trim tag is still in place. Everything looks so tidy and fresh!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and jamb are both painted slick just like the body. The weather strip was replaced and the LED light works. The latch mechanism was replaced. Inside is all solid and rust-free metal with a neatly applied spatter finish paint. The power top components have been rewired. It also comes with a new rally ii wheel and reproduction tire for a spare. A jack assembly, rubber mat, lug wrench, and car cover are also included.
UNDERSIDE: The body was lifted off the frame and put on a rotisserie! The floors are pristine metal and neatly painted semi-gloss black. Every mechanical component is replaced or rebuilt. It has F-41 suspension which includes boxed rear control arms and front and rear sway bars. It also has 1"" lowering springs at all 4 corners. All the steering is rebuilt. It has an all new brake system with disc in front, drum and back, new e-brake assembly, plus all the lines and hoses were replaced. Really sweet sounding Pypes dual exhaust system with splitter tips. Complete new fuel system including the tank. Looking up at the 400 engine it's still pristine and has a high torque starter. The Turbo 400 automatic transmission was totally rebuilt. The refurbished drive shaft goes back to a narrowed 12 bolt rear end with 3.31 gears. There is a hidden battery disconnect switch in the driver's front wheel well. It has an upgraded quick ratio power steering gearbox too.
SERVICE: Our shop manager thoroughly inspected this car, and we replaced the intake gaskets, replaced the wiper motor, and installed a new boot.
