1966 Chevy Malibu is a top-line subseries of the mid-sized Chevrolet Chevelle therefore known as 1966 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE MALIBU COUPE! These are known as power performance vehicles leaning heavy on the word performance. this Malibu is no exception bosting 500 ft-lb of torque with an 1/4 mile time of 11.44 Et. Don't let this shake you this beauty with 28" rear tires-has good HWY manners cruising freeway speeds at 2800 rpm.

The '66 is a show stopper done .....
in a deep metallic blue. One look at the fit and finish of the panels, doors and hood this Malibu is straight and clean. The Malibu is rust free from the body to the undercarriage. All the chrome, stainless, and moldings are show ready. The black interior looks as if new. The dash is clean and the gauges work properly. The build was completed in 2014 and comes with receipts and chassis dyno graph.

What is hiding under the hood? The motor is a 454 block de-stroked to 3.76 steel crank, bored .060 over for a total of 439ci with Brodix race right heads. Lunati .586/.600 cam (cam card included) with comp cams chromoly rocker arms under the tall chrome valve covers. The 11.27 compression will run 92 pump gas. MSD pro-billet distributor and 6al digital box. Holley carb and Edelbrock intake. Just a note this combination was tested on a chassis dyno at DK diesel performance and off-road to 413 rear wheel horsepower, and 500 torque includes graph. Let's not overlook the Innovate digital wideband o2 sensor gauge.

The transmission is an aftermarket brand thrust button case 32 spline M22W built by Medatronics in Florida. it has a McLeod clutch with Heim jointed linkage, and a scatter shield bell housing. A 3" steel Dennys drive shaft 1350 u-joints. The rear differential is well built with chromoly input yoke 3.73 gears Eaton clutch Posi, and rear cover that applies main cap support and alloy axles with 1/2" wheel studs. It has a Competition Plus Shifter that has been modified to accept an original Muncie shifter.

The Malibu has an excellent road handling thanks to Edelbrock rear shocks, aftermarket rear control arms and frame stiffener, heavy sway bar, and air bags in the coil springs to adjust for tire to ground pressure. Other features include front discs and drums rear brakes with manual master. The manual steering box is a 16-1 trans-am ratio built by Redhead Steering in Seattle. Has a stainless-steel gas tank, and ptfe fuel lines to prevent problems with our local alcohol content gasoline. The twin Spal electric fans controlled by a Painless Wiring fan controller keeps the Malibu cool under any driving conditions. This is not just another Malibu in essence, get the classic lines we love with kickass performance. This car drives like new with that vintage style, but with solid reliability. Now this isn't an inexpensive proposition these days consider the cost. Try and build one at this price.

It could be yours for $49,000.00!
