Classic pickup trucks have gone up in value consistently for the last 5-6 years and examples this nice are a solid investment for the future!
This 1966 Chevrolet C10 Custom is fully restored and ready to show! The exterior was stripped to bare metal, coated in anti-corrosion gray primer, and then given 2 .....
layers of Dark Blue Metallic base coat and 3 layers of clear. That was then wet sanded and buffed to a show quality finish! All of the glass, trim, and brightwork are all in fantastic condition as well. The wheels are painted to match and are Rally wheels from a mid-80s truck. They are wrapped in Firestone Firehawk raised white letter radial tires.
Look over the bedside to see a show quality bed with oak boards and polished stainless strips. The oak was sanded smooth, stained with Teak stain, and then given 8 coats of Spar marine varnish to protect them! This is a bed you will be happy to show off.
Pop the door and you will discover a completely restored interior as well. New upholstery, modern AM/FM/Cassette radio with Kenwood speakers, fresh paint, and a floor mounted shifter give this old truck a new show-ready cab for you to enjoy.
Under the hood is a fully rebuilt, hot tanked, decked, bored .030 over, and dressed up 350 CID V8 engine. Ported and polished double hump heads were rebuilt and installed, along with an Edelbrock intake and 650 CFM 4-barrel carburetor. An HEI distributor provides a strong spark as well. That engine is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission for a real hot rod truck feeling. The transmission has a Center Force clutch and spherical clutch linkage installed.
The engine compartment is as clean as they come and dressed up with just enough chrome and billet to be flashy, but not over the top! CPP power steering and power front disc brakes make this truck a breeze to drive while you listen to the mild rumble of the Hooker ceramic coated headers running to Flowmaster 2.5” exhaust. The underside of this truck is also incredibly clean and solid, leaving really no area to complain about when you crawl all over it. This truck needs nothing but a new home and it is ready to cruise, show, or commute with on nice weather days. Whatever you decide to do with it, be prepared for thumbs up, questions when you stop, and a lot of jaws dropping!
For safe night driving LED headlights and taillights have been installed, which are much brighter than the stock bulbs. This truck has been dropped 3” with drop coil springs, and all new steering, suspension, brakes, and bushings have been installed during the install. Anti-sway bars were also installed front and rear to keep this truck planted to the concrete and feeling tight in those sharp turns! The rear end was also rebuilt during the restoration!
This truck comes with a clean and clear Florida title and is sure to put a smile on the new owner's face! We don't often get to use the words “Fully Restored” in a vehicle at this price point, so jump on it while you can!
