Description
1957 Chevrolet 210 Custom

The Tri-Five era was a special moment for Chevrolet and while they are all popular in the collector car world, the '57 has to lead the pack. Everyone has their favorite of the 3 years but there is no doubt that the '57 has become an automotive icon and poster car for the classic car community. It is synonymous with 50's car history and has widely been used in pop culture so frequently that even those not in the hobby can call them out. Greaser hair, poodle .....
skirts and the 1957 Chevrolet all are go-to representations for the decade. The Chevy you see here is a very nicely done car and comes with meticulous records of the build process. It is a 210 but now wears Bel Air trim over the very clean custom Blue paint that has a beautiful shine and was professional done by Herr Customs out of Indiana. All of the chrome/stainless is in great condition, straight, and cleanly mounted in place. The glass is all good as well and it has a tinted front windshield. The body on it is all rust free and it received new door skins, full quarter panels, and some sections of the front fenders. It has a nice stance and rides on a set of Cragar SS wheels which are a nice touch of custom on the exterior.

Under the classic speared hood the car has a fully rebuilt 1978 350 cubic inch 4 bolt main motor. The engine looks good with its finned valve covers and chrome air cleaner up top. It also features a lot of performance upgrades like Badger forged pistons, perfect circle rings, a Melling high volume oil pump, Michigan motorsports main/rod bearings, Detroit gaskets, RKE True roller timing set, solid lifters, a Holley Street Dominator intake, Holley 650 cfm carburetor and more. Other performance work during the build include blending the valve packets, port matching the intake runners and all the runners were deflashed. The car runs extremely well and sounds great through the dual exhaust which exits below the rear bumper. It has no heating issues thanks to the added aftermarket aluminum radiator. Paired with the motor is a 1969 wide ratio Muncie manual transmission and a 1968 Camaro 12 bolt housing with 1970 Mark 3 series posi carrier and GM high impact 3:73 gears. The front brakes on it have been converted to discs and it has a CPP power brake booster. During the build the car got new rear springs, coil springs, lower ball joints, new body mounts and a new gas tank with new filler neck.

The interior of the car has been completely redone and it now has high back bucket seats up front in Gray upholstery with Chevy Bowties on the headrests. It is very nice throughout and there are Black seat belts in place in both front and rear. On the floor is a Hurst competition shifter that moves through the gears with ease. The dash is all nicely painted to match the exterior. It has its original style gauges but there is a polished secondary under dash gauge pod for your oil pressure, temperature, and amp gauges. On the column is a Sun Super Tach II tachometer and it is topped off with a Lecarra 4 spoke Black wrapped steering wheel. The Chevy AM/FM/Cassette player has been replaced and works properly. The trunk is all very nicely finished out in matching upholstery and offers a ton of additional storage space.

This cool classic has a great look, runs well and is ready to add some trophies on your shelf. Everything on it works so hop in it, turn the key and go!

Take this beauty home for $54,000.00!
