1955 CHEVY BEL AIR. Convt, 265 V8 w/power pack, twin exhaust & Carter 4bbl carb, has had several tops, sets of tires but no overhauls, carb has never been off car & still runs like a “Scalded Ape”, in 1955 it cost $2345 with an extra-cost $112 for signal seeking AM radio, (FM radio hadn’t been invented yet). I bought this car just before leaving for the Korean War I am the original owner, the car is 55 years old this year and I am 75 years old now. Perhaps it deserves to be in the Guiness World Book of Records as being the oldest car owned by the original owner. Charles Callis, Union City, TN
